On Monday 25 May 2026, the Marshall White Foundation began a new chapter in its fundraising calendar with the inaugural Golf Day at The Metropolitan Golf Club, bringing together partners, clients and friends of Marshall White for a morning focused on community, connection and giving back.
With all 18-hole sponsorships sold out well ahead of the event, 72 players took to the course following a light breakfast. The day wrapped up with a celebration, featuring a three-course lunch and beverages.
Marshall White Sales Executive Simon O'Donnell led proceedings as MC, while Deborah De Rossi, Chief Executive Officer of You Matter, spoke to the impact the Marshall White Foundation continues to have on the lives of those it supports. You Matter is a Victorian charity creating safe havens for women and children escaping family violence, offering support, stability and a pathway to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. The Marshall White Foundation is proud to be the leading financial contributor to You Matter.
An auction led by Director Andrew Hayne rounded out the day, helping raise important funds in support of the Foundation's work.
All proceeds raised on the day goes directly to the Marshall White Foundation, contributing to charitable initiatives focused on domestic violence, mental health and homelessness.
About the Marshall White Foundation
Founded in 2015, the Marshall White Foundation was born from a commitment to making a difference in the lives of Melbourne's most vulnerable. Launched with an initial investment from Marshall White, the foundation has since grown into an independent, self-sustaining force for good, guided by considered charitable partnerships and a long-term vision for lasting community impact. Today, with a corpus of $4 million and more than $750,000 contributed to charitable initiatives, the Foundation continues to build on its legacy of care, generosity and positive change.
The Foundation's work is guided by three key pillars: Home, helping provide access to shelter, food, education, empowerment and security; Community, championing the people and places connected to Marshall White across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula; and Giving, with the Marshall White team playing its part in supporting meaningful change.
Thank you
We were fortunate to have the support of a fantastic group of sponsors at the Marshall White Foundation Golf Day, without whom this inaugural event would not have been possible. Thank you to everyone who sponsored, participated and contributed to this memorable event, and to everyone who continues to support the Marshall White Foundation and the lives it impacts.
