Dear Argyle Square Purchaser,
We are pleased to provide this construction update as we target our early April completion.
- Defect and quality works on those apartments not yet ready for handover (only 5% in total) will commence mid-March.
- Civil works (footpaths, kerbs etc) are now 80% complete on all three street frontages. Your substation and mains water etc are now connected and commissioned , noting these are still subject to authority review, amendment, and sign off.
- Landscaping works across all levels are largely complete, with all planter boxes now irrigated.
- External cleaning has commenced for the façade and windows
- Necessary quality control and defect rectification works , starting with levels 1 – 3 , are on track to commence with the next four weeks assuming a number of other items above have progressed.
While completion of construction is likely in early April, the process of completion to then generate land titles, achieve occupancy certificates and enable occupation, will likely be post-Easter.
Despite our best endeavours , there has proven to be no pathway to partial settlement of the building. Rather, it must be completed in its entirety to enable authority sign off and to then commence the occupancy process.
A further update will be provided mid March, including details of arranging valuation inspection, and more certainty around final timelines.
