Rooms in Bloom

Drawing on years spent exploring gardens around the world, Jardin brings together the romance of English cottage borders, the considered beauty of Berlin’s botanic gardens and the abundant colour of Paris’s Parc Floral. Tulips, lavender, giant water lilies and billowing roses all find their way into the collection, reimagined through Bonnie & Neil’s distinctive painterly approach.  

“Jardin began as a collection of memories,” Ashley says. “Years spent wandering the world’s most beautiful gardens, from the cottage borders in Kew, to the botanic order of Berlin, to the quiet corners of Parc Floral de Paris.” 

For Ashley, whose work has long celebrated the expressive possibilities of pattern and colour, the collection also reflects a lifelong fascination with flowers. 

“My lifelong love of flowers is given a season of its own. Jardin is my ode to nature’s seasons, to colour that shifts with the light, to the history held in every bloom. The artwork for Jardin is created from places I have visited for years but reimagined for the way we live now.” 

Rather than interpreting its botanical references too literally, Jardin layers painterly florals with stripes and 1970s-inspired geometrics. Citron olive, pink, sunshine yellow and vivid Yves Klein blue move throughout the collection, creating a palette that feels simultaneously nostalgic and spirited. Petit primroses, sweet peas and graphic rosemary motifs add another dimension, capturing what the studio describes as the feeling of a cottage garden on the first day of spring.  

That sense of abundance carries across the home. Cushions range from softly romantic floral designs to graphic stripes, lattice patterns and earthy woven textures, encouraging an eclectic approach to layering rather than perfectly coordinated interiors. The collection moves between warm rust, caramel and taupe tones and brighter expressions of pink, citron, green and blue, allowing individual pieces to introduce colour or be combined more boldly.  

At the table, the garden influence becomes especially vivid. Linen tablecloths and napkins feature designs including Summer Patch Blue, Cherries and Berries, Jardin Multi, Radish, Geranium and Tulip, transforming everyday dining and entertaining into something altogether more expressive.  

The accompanying campaign imagery reinforces this idea beautifully. Tables are set among towering gums or filled with flowers, fruit, colourful glassware and contrasting linens, creating scenes that feel collected rather than overly styled. Indoors, the same prints sit comfortably alongside timber, woven textures and warm, earthy furnishings, demonstrating how even the collection’s more exuberant patterns can settle naturally into a home. 

Beyond living and dining spaces, Jardin extends into bathrooms with sculptural floral bath mats and striped designs in rich seasonal shades. Jute rugs, pedestal side tables, serveware and glassware broaden the collection further, allowing its palette and sense of play to move throughout different rooms.  

At its heart, however, Jardin remains a celebration of the garden itself and the enduring place flowers hold in our homes and memories. Through colour, pattern and a distinctly Australian ease, Bonnie & Neil brings those memories indoors, capturing the optimism and abundance of a garden coming back to life.
